Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Farm Animal Veterinarian to join their friendly and community-focused practice in Blenheim. This role offers the flexibility of permanent or locum work, with a focus on providing high-quality care to farming clients across the Marlborough region. The position involves on-farm consultations, diagnostics, surgery, and herd or flock management advice, all within a supportive team environment that values collaboration and innovation.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering veterinary care to a variety of farm animal species
- Providing farm visits, diagnostics, surgical procedures, and herd/flock health planning
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with rural clients
- Collaborating with experienced colleagues to ensure quality service delivery
- Participating in a shared after-hours roster for large animal cases
