Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Front Office Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced veterinary environment. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while managing the front office operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and veterinary practices, ensuring the highest level of support for our clients and their pets.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders to ensure efficient office operations.
- Handle medical collections and process payments accurately.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Assist with laboratory tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Provide support during veterinary procedures by preparing necessary equipment and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front office area, contributing to a professional environment.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Excellent customer service skills and an exceptional level of communication in a professional manner
- Experience in dog handling, animal restraint is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment and ability to manage stressful situations

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
