We are looking for Animal Caretakers to join our team in the exotic pet industry!

You will have a very unique opportunity to work with many different types of mammals, birds, and reptiles from across the world! From baby bunnies and guinea pigs, to bearded dragons and leopard geckos, to parakeets and cockatiels, you'll be able to work with and experience their behavior everyday!

You will be working with maintaining all the different exotic animals on a day to day basis, including feeding the animals, cleaning up their cages, and inspecting them to ensure they are happy and healthy!

As an Animal Caretaker you will be working in the morning from 8am before the store opens until the afternoon (1-3pm). Animal Caretakers do not work on the sales floor or with customers but will need to clean and maintain enclosures up front. While taking care of the animals you will learn all about their husbandry, how to gender many of the animals, how their behavior works, and what to look out for if something is wrong.

Some animal care experience is preferred, but not required. You will be required to stand and walk as well as work physical activities such as carrying cages, bedding, and food bags up to 50lbs.
