Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in clients and pets
- Schedule and manage appointments
- Answer phones, emails, and client questions
- Help with paperwork and patient information
- Keep accurate medical and client records
- Prepare exam rooms and keep them clean
- Assist veterinarians during exams and procedures
- Handle payments and invoices
- Give clients basic pet care and medication information
- Daily cleaning and kennel duties
- Other tasks as needed
Qualifications (preferred, not required)
- Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal-related job
- Knowledge of veterinary terms, animal care, or medical procedures
- Comfort handling cats and dogs of all sizes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to use computer systems
- No equine or grooming experience required
