Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated farm-focused team. This is a great opportunity for a clinician who enjoys working with cattle and sheep while being part of a supportive, well-established practice that also runs farm shops and provides 24/7 emergency care. Located just 1.5 hours from Dublin, the clinic offers a varied caseload and a friendly working environment with excellent support structures.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out routine herd and flock health visits, scanning, and preventative work
- Performing surgeries, fertility testing, and emergency call-outs
- Delivering high standards of client communication and animal welfare
- Contributing to the team ethos by supporting colleagues and farm clients
- Maintaining clear and accurate clinical records
