Position: 2nd Shift Universal Production Worker (Trouw Nutrition Companion Animal)

About the Role
As a Universal Production Worker for our Trouw Nutrition Companion Animal brand, you’ll play a key role in our production team. You’ll be cross-trained in all aspects of the production process, with the goal of achieving Universal Worker status within your first year. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, quality, and safety are essential.
Shift:
- Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Fridays reserved for overtime as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and master all production processes 🐶🐱
- Ensure precise measurement and quality of ingredients
- Maintain strict sanitation standards to prevent contamination
- Proactively ask questions and seek understanding of processes
- Follow Nutreco’s 9 Life Saving Rules
- Lift up to 50+ lbs as needed
- Use basic computer skills for digital process management
What We’re Looking For
- High School diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or automated equipment experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer experience with manufacturing applications and email preferred
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided onsite)
- Safety-minded and detail-oriented
