This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQUALIFICATIONS:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n- Education Four-year bachelors degree in food science, microbiology, etc.\r\n- Minimum 2-3 years of food manufacturing experience\r\n- Certified SQF is desired.\r\n- Need to have the desire to be on the plant floor and setting up quality systems within the plant.\r\n- Willing to travel 20%.\r\n- 3-7 days of work at home per month on average.\r\n- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)\r\n- HARPC and/or HACCP Training Certificate\r\n- GMP Training\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nJOB DESCRIPTION:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nHansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing an established Food Processing company who is searching for a Quality Assurance Manager.\r\n\r\nThe purpose of the Quality Assurance Manager is to ensure a quality product is being produced and distributed at all times.\r\n\r\nResponsibilities:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tEnsure proper management of day-to-day activities related to food safety, HACCP programs, GMP and quality training programs.\r\n\tExecute quality control procedures, policies, and control quality of and production/distribution efforts.\r\n\tWill lead efforts to ensure quality excellence and compliance with food safety regulatory standards.\r\n\tMaintain quality assurance standard operating procedures in Safety chain.\r\n\tMonitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency (Safety Chain, HARPC, HACCP, and HACQP plans).\r\n\tParticipate and contribute to continuous improvement of departmental SOPs.\r\n\tDevelop and execute employee training programs.\r\n\tEnsure incoming materials meet safety and quality standards though inspection, vendor visits and certification programs.\r\n\tManage budget and cost controls.\r\n\tEnsure that all new regulations are quickly and accurately implemented.\r\n\tReview quality documentation necessary for regulatory submissions and inspections.\r\n\tAnalyze quality control test results and data and provide feedback and interpretation to management or staff necessary for operational decisions.\r\n\tDocument organizational or operational procedures.\r\n\tConfer with organizational team members to accomplish work activities to ensure daily quality is maintained.\r\n\tConduct routine and non-routine analyzes of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples.\r\n\tEnsure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained in accordance with SQF\r\n\tTrain Team members on Quality Assurance best practices\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
