Viking Veterinary Hospital Idaho Falls (VVH IF) is a privately owned, 24hr emergency and critical care facility continuing a service that was established in 2007. As the only emergency facility in eastern Idaho and western Wyoming we handle a wide variety of internal medicine and surgical cases for a 3.5 hour radius. VVH IF has a collaborative environment where we encourage learning and growth while we all collaborate on cases. We have a well equipped facility with Ligasure, anesthetic ventilator, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, full in house blood analyzers including blood gas and coagulation testing. We have an established bloodbank program keeping the hospital and the community supplied with blood products. We are fortunate to have great retention of highly trained support staff dedicated to conscientious patient care and maintaining high standards.
The position offers flexibility in scheduling to allow a good work-life balance, a competitive compensation package with medical/dental plan, matching 401K, PTO, and funding for CE, dues and licenses.
