We are seeking a Diesel Service Technician to join our dedicated team. We have openings at both locations in Elkhart, KS and Dalhart, TX. In this role, you will work hands-on diagnosing and repairing farm equipment, diesel engines, and modern ag machinery. What you will be doing:
- Diagnose and repair agricultural and diesel-powered equipment, including tractors, combines and other harvest, planting and tillage equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and field service calls as needed.
- Use diagnostic tools and service software to troubleshoot equipment systems.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Participate in paid manufacturer and in-house training to stay current on equipment and systems.
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient shop environment.
What it takes to be successful:
- Experience with diesel engines or agriculture equipment preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery independently and with team members.
- Ability to work both in-shop and in the field.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality workmanship.
