Position SummaryThis position is responsible for performing operations activities in the areas of Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles DDGS loadout inspection and general operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform inspection activities such as probing trucksOperate grain handling and receiving equipment; provide customer service to drivers and perform data entry of shipment detailsMonitor equipment and processes to identify issues; resolve or escalate issues when necessaryOperate various types of mobile equipmentAssist with the movement of railcarsPerform general housekeeping activitiesWhat is expected of you and others at this levelMinimal job-related experienceWork is prescribed and completed with close supervision and little autonomyDuties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detailEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferredBasic computer and data entry skillsPrevious grain operations experience preferredAbility to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driverâs license preferredPhysical Requirements and Working EnvironmentWork is performed in an ethanol production facility that operates 24x7Must be able to stand/sit for an extended period of timeAbility to frequently lift/push/pull up to 75 poundsMust be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 180 feetWorks indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperaturesWorking conditions could include dust fumes moderate noise and uneven surfacesThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
