\r\n\r\nThis role is ideal for a graduate or experienced tractor driver looking to take the next step towards farm management, while continuing to build on their practical skills.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nMost of your time will be spent operating machinery — including drilling, relief spraying, and general arable work — but you’ll also work closely with the farm manager to gain insight into the broader running of the farm. Over time, you’ll be involved in administration, ordering, strategic planning, and leadership responsibilities, with the chance to take ownership of your own projects and liaise directly with agronomists and suppliers.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe farm covers 3,000 acres, primarily focused on arable cropping, with a herd of cattle integrated to support soil health and nutrient cycling. This sits within a broader commitment to biodiversity and regenerative farming practices.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWe're looking for someone with arable experience and the drive to take on more responsibility. The farm is committed to supporting your development — including qualifications like FACTS and BASIS — with the aim of preparing you for a future farm management role, either within the business or beyond.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAccommodation is available as part of the package.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe role:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDrilling and general arable work\r\n\tRelief sprayer operator\r\n\tMachinery maintenance\r\n\tDeputise for farm manager\r\n\tLight administrative work\r\n\tHedge cutting\r\n\tSupervising harvest workers\r\n\tLearning from farm manager\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat you will have:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPrevious arable experience\r\n\tFull UK driving licence\r\n\tPA1 & PA2\r\n\tAbility to operate machinery\r\n\tAbility to work unsupervised and on your own initiative\r\n\tNVQ level 2 or above\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nRenumeration:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCompetitive salary based on experience\r\n\tAccommodation\r\n\tPension\r\n\tTraining opportunities and personal development plan\r\n\r\n
