Job Description: Our client is seeking a confident and motivated Lead Veterinary Nurse to oversee a dynamic clinical nursing team in the Tasman region. This part-time position, working four days per week, offers the chance to combine hands-on clinical care with leadership responsibilities in a modern, well-equipped environment. The successful candidate will help drive nursing standards, mentor junior staff, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing advanced surgical and hospital nursing duties, including anesthesia and recovery monitoring
- Coordinating daily nursing workflows and clinical task allocation
- Mentoring and developing junior nurses within the team
- Participating in weekend or on-call rotations as required
- Collaborating with veterinarians to maintain high patient care standards
