Your Role:Enterprise Cloud & Infrastructure Architect
As an Enterprise Cloud & Infrastructure Architect, you will be at the heart of a digital transformation, designing and implementing a holistic architectural strategy across on-premise data centers and multi-cloud environments. You will be a senior advisor to technology leaders, including the CTO and CISO, providing guidance on complex challenges and strategic direction.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead the design and evolution of our hybrid cloud strategy, governing hyperscaler environments (Azure, GCP) and integrating with on-premise virtualisation platforms (VMware).
Establish and lead architectural review forums, developing key deliverables like reference architectures, principles, and patterns.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Domain Architects, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
Define the strategy for our global network, including SD-WAN, LAN/WLAN, and firewalls, and champion a Zero-Trust security model.
Lead our automation strategy, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform and Ansible, and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma / GED with equivalent level of experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior architecture role
Extensive Architectural Expertise in public cloud (Azure, GCP) and on-premise infrastructure; Technical Leadership & Mentorship; Demonstrable expertise across a wide range of technologies, including networking (SD-WAN, LAN/WLAN, Firewalls), security (Zero-Trust), and automation (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
Experience with Generative AI and its application in a cloud environment.
Certifications in AWS, Azure, or other relevant cloud and networking technologies.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or animal health industry.
