Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled mixed animal locum to begin December, to provide coverage. You’ll take on clinical, surgical and on-farm duties during your locum period, supporting both companion and farm services.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Covering herd health, reproductive and disease cases on farms in the Dairy Flat catchment
- Taking on small animal consults, diagnostics, surgery and medical cases
- Handling after-hours or emergency calls during the locum period as needed
- Coordinating with clinic staff, mentoring or supporting nurses, and maintaining standards
- Integrating into network protocols, contributing to case reviews and continuity of care
