The Thorn Avenue Animal Hospital, a family owned companion animal hospital in Orchard Park, is looking for a veterinary assistant. The position is full time, in the range of 35 to 40 hours per week. Compensation will be based on experience.
Our practice is client-focused, we are looking for someone with excellent people skills, compassion, and empathy. We believe the best way to take care of our patients is to support and educate the human companions that come with them.
We are looking for someone with experience in the veterinary field. Tasks would include but are not limited to: pet handling, client interaction and education, appointment prep, and general hospital cleanup.
