The Role and Responsibilities:
Southern Cross Veterinary Clinic is looking for a receptionist to join our team. The responsibilities for the role include:
· Following a daily checklist of tasks
· Replying to emails
· Answering calls
· Meeting and engaging with clients
· Greeting and receiving their animals
· Scheduling appointments, surgeries and boardings
· Taking payments for invoices

About Our Ideal Candidate
The candidate that we believe is most ideal for this role is somebody who is:
· Currently studying nursing or has an interest to study
· Proactive, a multi-tasker and a team player
· Flexible with hours/days
· Available at short notice
· Willing to work weekends
· Works well under pressure
· A fast learner
· Bright, bubbly & well presented
· Must have Customer Service Skills
· Computer literate
We would prefer candidates who have experience in working at the reception desk.
