Summarized Responsibilities:
- Provides exceptional patient care, including preliminary evaluations, restraint, and patient treatment as directed by the doctor. Records clinical notes associated.
- Expertly educates clients about annual care, routine disease & parasite prevention, veterinary procedures, and products.
- Administers routine care such as vaccinations, performs venipuncture & blood draw, IV catheter placement. Performs diagnostics such as cytology, radiography, and routine lab work.
- Assists doctors in surgical procedures, including monitoring anesthesia. Performs dental prophylaxis, dental radiography, and charting.
- Assists with humane euthanasia procedures with empathy and professionalism.
