As a People Operations & Global Mobility Intern, you will gain valuable experience in various Human Resources tasks, supporting management and staff in daily people activities to achieve organizational goals. Both functions are part of the Global Operational Excellence group within IDEXX's Human Resources department.
In this role
You will be a part of the HR People Operations & Global Mobility teams and assist them throughout their day-to-day tasks and projects.
You may oversee a variety of projects from start to finish. These could include payroll preparation, data audits and updates, managing benefit modifications, process enhancements, global mobility initiatives, template standardization, ensuring time and absence compliance, preparing employee documents, as well as managing employee communications and relationships.
What You Will Need to Succeed
Having an energetic attitude paired with an academic focus in Human Resources, good communication skills and the ability to multitask.
Being open, organized and pro-active will help you in your day-to-day activities.
The ability to work detail oriented while adhering to deadlines, working under pressure.
To be fluent in both English and a second language is preferred. Technical affinity or experience is beneficial.
Resourcefulness in devising ways to make assigned tasks more time efficient and improve current process is welcomed.

Some practical aspects
You are available to start at the beginning of January or February 2026 and work with us for 6 months. This role is a full-time position, 40 hours a week.
To be eligible for this internship you need to be enrolled as a student towards the attaining of a degree in the Netherlands and secure your university approval to start this assignment. If you are not from the EU, you will need to provide a Nuffic agreement.
Our office is located in Hoofddorp, next to the train station (25 minutes from Amsterdam by train). We are working in a hybrid model, with a requirement to work a minimum of two times a week from the office and when there is a business or team/social need. The other days we work from home. It is of course possible to come to the office when you prefer working from there.
