Job Description: Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Small Animal & Exotics Vet Surgeon to join their progressive and well-equipped hospital. This hybrid role offers the perfect blend of first-opinion small animal work alongside an exciting caseload of exotics including birds, reptiles, and small mammals. Qualifications Needed:
- MRCVS-registered Small Animal Vet Surgeon
- Keen interest in exotic species – prior experience advantageous but not essential
- Excellent clinical, surgical, and teamwork abilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to continued learning and development
Package:
- Salary £38,000–£50,000 per year, dependent on experience
- Five-day working week (Monday–Friday, 40 hours)
- No night shifts – dedicated ECC team provides full out-of-hours cover
- 6.6 weeks’ annual leave including bank holidays, with buy/sell options
- £1,750 CPD budget with five days’ leave per year
