We are seeking a Horticultural Advisor to provide accurate advice on a wide range of horticultural topics through the RHS Gardening Advice Service to RHS Members, the wider public, and other departments within the RHS.

Overview of the Role:  
 
We are looking to recruit a Horticultural Advisor to join our knowledgeable and friendly team. As a Horticultural Advisor you will be accountable for: 
 
 
 
 - Providing accurate horticultural advice on enquiries received by the RHS Gardening Advice through all channels: phone, online, face to face, (e.g. shows, presentations) meeting the agreed customer service standards.
  
 - Providing accurate written horticultural advice for web-based articles, The Garden Magazine, RHS Newsletters to meet the required quality and time deadlines.
  
 - Completing Garden Advice Records System (GAS) to provide data for future analysis.
  
 - Developing and recommending advice for gardeners from work produced by RHS Scientists.
  
 - Seeking and engaging in professional development activities to enhance personal professional knowledge and skills.
  
 - Providing supervision and support for students, junior colleagues, freelance staff and/or volunteers to deliver day to day advice activities as required.
