Your Role: Pet Health Marketing (Dermatology) Academic Worker
As an Academic Worker for the Dermatology portfolio, you will be part of the US Dermatology Marketing team who lead competitive and essential solutions in the category. In this role you’ll be responsible for managing and tracking a multi-million dollar operating expense budget for the Dermatology portfolio. You may also manage promotional material development, approval and production processes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Raise purchase orders and process invoices in Elanco financial platforms and systems (SAP, Ariba, etc.)
- Consult with Dermatology team marketers as well as cross-functional stakeholders “spending on behalf” of the Derm team (e.g., Retail and Home Delivery, Medical Strategy, Conference teams) to ensure accurate budget phased forecasting
- Complete monthly accruals and Financial-cycle forecasting adjustments (3x/year), aligning with all stakeholders to ensure accuracy
- Manage submission and approval of promotional materials in VEEVA (Promomats) system
- Track inventory & use rates, solicit estimates and submit orders to ensure consistent stock of promotional materials
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
- Education: Student currently enrolled in a business a business degree or similar field
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
- An understanding of Excel and Microsoft products, with aptitude and ability to learn additional technical platforms (including those mentioned above)
- Self starter with exceptional attention to detail
- Previous experience managing budgets, financials, and other processes tied to deadlines
