Middlefork Ranch is seeking an Assistant Manager to assist with animal welfare and reproduction operations at our ranch in Kaycee, Wyoming. In this role, you will assist in the daily care of a 2,000-head dairy heifer operation.

Qualifications:
- Experience in cattle management and herd health
- Genuine passion for cattle, ranching, and animal welfare
- Strong desire to learn, grow, and expand knowledge in cattle production
- Minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily care of a 2,000-head heifer operation, including feeding, watering, & bedding
- Monitor cattle for signs of illness and a ssist with vaccinations and treatments
- Assist in conducting artificial insemination (AI)
- Assist with manure management
- Update data in herd management software
- Assist where help is need in all areas of the ranch
- Assist with crop production activities as needed, when time permits
