Job Description: Our client is seeking a motivated and dedicated Emergency & Critical Care Veterinarian to join their companion animal team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a purpose-built hospital environment that supports both first-opinion and referral services across the South Island. The position provides a balanced schedule with a 30-hour working week and weekend shifts as part of the ECC rota, giving you the flexibility to maintain a healthy work-life balance while developing your skills in emergency and critical care.
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent, eligible for registration in New Zealand
- Experience in emergency or hospital-based practice preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work confidently in urgent situations
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to compassionate and ethical veterinary practice
