The primary focus is in-season spraying (March October) with broader support across crop production the rest of the year. We re looking for a conscientious operator who takes pride in their work, values safety, and is comfortable with larger, late-model John Deere precision ag equipment. Possibly willing to train the right farm equipment operator who s eager to learn spraying.\r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\n- Operate self-propelled sprayers and support equipment; perform accurate and timely applications within labeled guidelines\r\n- Calculate and mix chemical rates; read and follow chemical labels and application instructions\r\n- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections; handle preventive maintenance and general repairs on equipment\r\n- Assist with planting, tillage, harvest, grain handling, and other farm tasks when not spraying\r\n- Keep detailed records of applications and help maintain chemical and parts inventories\r\n- Follow all safety, stewardship, and compliance practices; remain highly aware of surroundings and conditions\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSeasonal Schedule:\r\nSpray season: March October; hours vary with weather and application windows\r\nSlower period: January February focused on maintenance, prep, and training\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nBENEFITS:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nNegotiable\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
