Responsible for achieving optimum equipment performance which results in meeting or exceeding product quality standards relating to defects and/or sizing. Also helps in daily sanitation and clean-ups.\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat you’ll be doing.\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPromotes and adheres to company safety work rules and regulations.\r\n\tOperates prime and specialty defect control equipment.\r\n\tPerforms machine preventative maintenance checks, diagnostic checks and routine adjustments on line equipment.\r\n\tCollects samples and inspects product for quality requirements and machine efficiencies.\r\n\tMonitors line flow volumes and sizing requirements of prime and specialty lines.\r\n\tCleans and sanitizes processing equipment during scheduled shutdown.\r\n\tInputs all information into Infinity and completes all records and reports.\r\n\tCompletes SPC chart for defect levels.\r\n\tRelieves other employees under the discretion of the supervisor.\r\n\tCoordinates with other operators in varying departments.\r\n\tAttends and participates in all annual, departmental, and job-specific required training and monthly informational meetings.\r\n\tCommunicates any problems or changes in production or quality to supervisor and appropriate personnel.\r\n\tUnderstands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process in order to ensure a quality operation.\r\n\tKeeps area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).\r\n\tHelps to build and promote a strong “Teamwork” environment in each individual work group, the Factory, and the Company.\r\n\tParticipates in continuous improvement process.\r\n\tMust adhere to the McCain Code of Conduct.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat you’ll need to be successful.\r\n\r\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\r\n \r\n\r\nAbout McCain\r\n\r\nClick Here to learn more about McCain and how we provide you with opportunities to make an impact that matters.\r\n \r\n\r\nLeadership principles.\r\n\r\nAt McCain, our leadership principles guide how we engage with customers, collaborate as a team, and achieve success.
