In this role, you'll take the lead in designing, developing, and scaling new food and beverage concepts that tap into the full potential of teas, herbals, and functional botanicals. Working cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, and Operations, you’ll help deliver innovative, clean-label solutions that bring wellness to life.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\n\r\n\r\n\tLead formulation and prototype development of food and beverage products showcasing functional botanicals, teas, and herbals.\r\n\tDrive process development and scale-up, providing technical guidance to internal teams and manufacturing partners.\r\n\tCollaborate with Sales and directly support customer innovation projects from concept through production.\r\n\tDevelop tailored prototypes for target clients and strategic accounts.\r\n\tOversee operations support to improve product efficiencies, resolve formulation challenges, and maintain quality standards.\r\n\tEnsure full compliance with food safety, regulatory, and quality guidelines.\r\n\tOperate lab equipment, maintain sample inventory, and manage the ingredient stockroom.\r\n\tMonitor and interpret evolving regulatory requirements; prepare necessary documentation and permit applications.\r\n\tAct as an innovative partner—contributing ideas, solving problems, and sharing best practices across departments.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat We're Looking For\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Food or Chemical Engineering.\r\n\tMinimum 5 years of experience in product development, formulation, or food ingredient R&D.\r\n\tStrong working knowledge of SAP software is preferred.\r\n\tProven expertise in lab-based development and formulation of food and beverage applications.\r\n\tExperience with botanical, tea, herbal, or wellness-based ingredients is a strong plus.\r\n\tThe ability to optimize plant-based ingredients for taste, texture, stability, and nutritional benefit.\r\n\tFamiliarity with Food Service or CPG environments is a bonus.\r\n\tStrong communication, project management, and problem-solving abilities.\r\n\tA collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced setting.\r\n\tWillingness to travel occasionally (local and overnight as needed).\r\n\tMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhy You’ll Love It Here\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCompetitive compensation and full health benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA)\r\n\t401(k) with generous company match\r\n\tCompany-paid Life and Disability Insurance\r\n\tMonthly fitness stipend to support your wellness goals\r\n\r\n
