Territory Business Manager, Production - Northeast\r\n\r\nThe Production Territory Manager is a hybrid role encompasses both a sales element as well as providing technical support on reproduction to veterinarians and dairy producers. This position will report to the VP US Commercial Sales.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPosition Mission:\r\n\r\nProduction Territory Business Manager will have full ownership for the sales and customers in their territory that will include Northeast (including but not limited to NY and PA). They will nurture current relationships while also developing new relationships with potential clients to grow the territory. This position will be responsible for achieving sales objectives through proper territory management, focusing on targeted customers, and selling the benefits of Parnell’s brand including our proprietary software, as well as their own technical expertise.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nExpected Outcomes Include:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tGrowth of the business through a concrete understanding of the territory and an established, productive, long-term business relationship with key accounts\r\n\tSales of Parnell service to veterinarians and dairy producers; including reproductive drugs and digital technology tools\r\n\tArrange meetings with potential customers through cold calling (both via telephone and in person). Call on 20 customers per week, 240 per quarter\r\n\tSuccessfully train customers and their staff to further develop their knowledge and technical skills around reproduction and herd management\r\n\tAchievement of sales and growth objectives; monthly, quarterly, and yearly. This includes converting new cows onto Parnell products each quarter.\r\n\tProvide insight to the Marketing Manager into the target market, to assist with the Company's marketing strategy\r\n\tConvert producers and vets within the territory to utilize our proprietary reproductive software and perform 12 installations of mySYNCH each quarter\r\n\tProduce accurate sales forecasts for individual key accounts within the territory and manage to them\r\n\tRepresent Parnell at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations including hosting reproductive forums for customers\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nCompetencies:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tRobust knowledge of the dairy and/or beef industry within the USA, including the current regulations\r\n\tStrong business acumen, organizational and analytical skills\r\n\tDemonstrated understanding of effective marketing of technical products to a professional market\r\n\tPossess a solid understanding of bovine reproduction\r\n\tDrive for Results\r\n\tExcellent verbal/written communication skills\r\n\tMotivated & self-directed\r\n\tDetail oriented & organized\r\n\tTech savvy\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nQualifications:\r\n\r\n\r\n\t2+ years dairy or beef industry sales experience in a senior role, in and around the territory\r\n\tDegree in Animal related discipline or life science a benefit\r\n\tMust have a current driver license\r\n\tKnowledge of bovine reproduction\r\n\tAbility and willingness to travel between 70 to 80% of the time.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nParnell has a strong focus on personal and professional development for those who demonstrate the company’s core values of Professionalism, Excellence, and Teamwork. Parnell has an accountable and transparent culture, where working hard is just as important as having fun!\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe competitive remuneration package includes;\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBase Salary: $90,000 - $110,000\r\n\tCar Allowance: $11,000 and fuel paid by Parnell\r\n\tQuarterly Bonus: target of 10% of base salary in addition AND an uncapped SPIFF\r\n\tAnnual Bonus: target of 15% of base salary with uncapped potential\r\n\tTravel: 80%\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n
