\r\n\r\nJob ID: R2000620634 \r\n \r\n\r\nJob Description:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat you'll do: \r\n\r\n\r\n\tObtain updates from the prior shift, including DP times, load types, non-retail load updates, and other critical information, ensuring clear communication and continuity between teams.\r\n\tReview operational performance, identify labor requirements based on load time availability, and make informed decisions to address issues efficiently.\r\n\tReview emails, confirm all loads are printed, reconcile driver assignments, and ensure all loads are completed as scheduled.\r\n\tOrganize and consolidate retail and non-retail loads to optimize resource use and delivery efficiency.\r\n\tSelect drivers based on operational needs and assign appropriate routes using trucking management software and related technology.\r\n\tMonitor and control daily performance to ensure compliance, manage risks, and maintain service standards.\r\n\tProvide detailed updates to the following shift upon their arrival, ensuring consistent and accurate information flow.\r\n\tAnswer incoming calls and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.\r\n\tBuild and lead diverse teams that foster collaboration, inclusiveness, and a sense of belonging.\r\n\tPlan and organize schedules, resources, and priorities to meet operational demands, even under pressure.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat you bring: \r\n\r\n\r\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.\r\n\tProven problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective, practical solutions.\r\n\tStrong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.\r\n\tAbility to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing operational demands.\r\n\tProficiency in trucking management software and related technology applications.\r\n\tTeam-oriented mindset, willing to assist others and contribute to a positive, productive workplace.\r\n\tPrior experience in a transportation environment preferred.\r\n\tShift: Wednesday to Sunday, flexible schedule for day, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekend, and holiday coverage.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nLoblaw is committed to sustainability by sourcing products with integrity and making a positive difference in the community.
