We offer our customers a wide variety of feeds in the Dairy, Beef, Swine and Poultry species. Manufacturing divisions with the company include Mount Forst and the head office located in Tavistock. We are currently hiring for a dispatcher at our Tavistock location. The Dispatcher’s role is to route and schedule drivers to deliver feed to customers and pick up commodities from suppliers in an efficient and timely manner.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nResponsibility:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSchedule and plan deliveries for load maximization. \r\n\tReview and sign off on driver transportation forms.\r\n\tMonitor fleet movement and operations through the day.\r\n\tAssist and support compliance of Incident Investigations.\r\n\tMonitor drivers’ hours of service to ensure compliance with MTO regulations.\r\n\tOrganize and supervise the truck drivers work to ensure that all assigned work activity is carried out in an \r\n\tefficient and procedurally compliant manner.\r\n\tUnderstand and follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and \r\n\tinstructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.\r\n\tConduct regular truck inspections and maintain accurate documentation.\r\n\tSchedule all truck maintenance and repairs.\r\n\tUnderstand and follow all HACCP requirements and all Health and Safety policies and procedures.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nQualifications:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDispatch experience would be an asset but not required.\r\n\tExceptional customer service and written/verbal communication skills.\r\n\tWorking knowledge of GMP and HACCP.\r\n\tProblem identification and solving capabilities with the ability to work under pressure in a fast- paced \r\n\tenvironment.\r\n\tAbility to multi-task and attention to detail.\r\n\tGood computer skills.\r\n\tFamiliar of Southwestern Ontario region.\r\n\tGeneral working knowledge of agricultural trucking processes considered an asset.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWe offer competitive wages, benefits and pension plan.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nInterested candidates can submit resumes to:\r\n\r\nAttention: Human Resources\r\nW-S Feed & Supplies Ltd.\r\nP.O.
