Role Overview

The GenAI & Agentic AI Technical Lead role will drive the delivery and integration of GenAI and automation capabilities within the company's Global Support Functions. The ideal candidate will envision and lead the efforts to realize the value potential through the lens of strategic innovation, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive efficiency and productivity. This role will have significant interaction with our IT and business partners, suppliers, and various technology providers and the ideal candidate is a results-driven individual that can envision and bring to life impactful solutions.

What will you do in this role
- Write efficient and maintainable code following best practices in software engineering.
- Working with DevSecOps tools for deploying and versioning code.
- Conduct innovation proof of concepts and pilots to identify and onboard pertinent solutions following company policies and in partnership with other stakeholders in the organization.
- Identify and promote reuse of modular components and frameworks to reduce implementation time and costs.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data pipeline efficiency and accuracy.
- Continuously iterate and refine retrieval augmented generation (RAG) methods and processes based on experimentation, analysis, and feedback. This will include embedding, chunking, loading, and search algorithm setup.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers, to understand requirements and deliver AI-driven solutions.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies with the team to execute on prioritized projects and features.
- Implement automated testing and monitoring techniques to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI systems.

What should you have
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any technology stream.
- 8+ years of overall work experience with at least 3+ years of experience in engineering of AI/ML, RPA, or complex custom software solutions or products in an enterprise setting
- Expert in building scalable AI Solutions within a modern technology stack which includes cloud services, data pipelines, database, and other necessary tooling.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Familiar with CI/CD and test-driven development
- Experience in building Restful APIs for AI models.
- Demonstrated success in launching and scaling enterprise AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), RAG, prompt engineering, and cloud platforms (AWS/Microsoft).
- Demonstrable understanding and ability to articulate architecture, technology, and software engineering best practices in AI/ML, RPA, and/or GenAI
- Experience in user-centric design, market research, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking, business acumen, and technical fluency.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user and business value.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for technology innovation and continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile Methodology.
- Additional programing languages such as Node.js / TypeScript, C#, or Java
- Prior experience developing highly scaled full-stack product(s) / solution(s) involving one or more components such as front-end, API, microservices, container services
- Prior experience in unstructured data handling and familiarity with techniques for
- Unstructured data ingestion, content extraction, annotations etc.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and refining prompts for generative AI models, preferably in creative or text generation domains.
- Advanced certifications in architecture, cloud engineering, AI/ML, and/or GenAI, preferably in AWS or Microsoft
- Ability to articulate decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders with varying technical and functional acumen
