Join Our Team as a Relief Veterinarian at Relief 4 Real in Austin, TX!
Relief 4 Real is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our beloved animal patients and their families. You will have the opportunity to manage your own schedule while operating within a supportive and collaborative setting (ideal for a flexible veterinarian schedule and full veterinarian schedule control). We provide short-term support to clinics in need, offering opportunities for locum veterinarian work, relief DVM shifts, and per diem veterinarian assignments. Surgical procedures are performed at your discretion at each location. If you possess a deep passion for animal welfare and seek a fulfilling career as an independent contractor veterinarian or DVM contractor, we eagerly await your application! You’ll enjoy no on-call and no after-hours requirements, plus opportunities within the Austin veterinary relief community, including occasional needs for traveling veterinarian or mobile veterinarian support roles.
Daily Responsibilities:
Provide top-tier medical care to small animals
Conduct preventive care examinations
Proficient in adapting to multiple veterinary software platforms (EzyVet, Vetspire, Cornerstone) and maintaining detailed, accurate records.
Utilize digital radiography
Required Skills:
Experience with digital radiography
Strong background in small animal care
Excellent client service and communication skills
Ability to adapt to new clinical environments
Minimum Requirements:
Up-to-date Professional Liability Insurance (PLIT)
Texas veterinary license in good standing
Current and valid DEA registration
