Job Description: Our client is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency Trained Small Animal Surgeon to join a busy specialty and emergency hospital with an established referral base. You will be stepping into a service that sees a wide spectrum of soft tissue and orthopedic cases, supported by advanced diagnostics, experienced emergency clinicians, and a skilled technical team.

Qualification Needed:

Veterinary degree (DVM or VMD) and completion of a rotating internship
Completion of an approved residency program in small animal surgery
Board certification, or eligibility, in small animal surgery
Strong track record of handling complex surgical and referral cases
Comfort working in a high-acuity environment alongside multiple services
Excellent communication skills with both referring veterinarians and pet owners
Commitment to collaborative, team-based care and continuous service improvement
Genuine interest in teaching and mentoring within a specialty hospital environment
