Maintenance, Refrigeration and Agriculture Mechanics Needed\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSchedule: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nRole Overview\r\n\r\nWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support our harvest and processing operations by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of critical equipment. This role combines expertise in agricultural machinery, refrigeration systems, and food processing equipment to maintain smooth production flow and uphold quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPerform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a variety of equipment, including:\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPea and corn harvesting machinery\r\n\t\tRefrigeration systems\r\n\t\tCanning line equipment (conveyors, fillers, seamers, labelers, etc.)\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tEnsure all equipment operates efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain production targets.\r\n\tCollaborate with supervisors and production teams to support continuous improvement and maintain quality standards.\r\n\tAdhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety regulations, and company policies at all times.\r\n\tAssist with seasonal changeovers, line setups, and tear-downs during pack season.\r\n\tMonitor and manage maintenance budgets, parts inventory, and cost control measures.\r\n\tProvide relief support in other departments and assist with facility-wide maintenance as needed.\r\n\tSupervise and train seasonal maintenance staff during peak production periods.\r\n\tMaintain accurate records of repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment performance.\r\n\tFoster a safe, organized, and positive work environment.\r\n\tPerform additional duties as assigned by management.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n\r\n\r\n\tStrong mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills across agricultural, refrigeration, and industrial equipment.\r\n\tTwo-year technical or vocational degree in refrigeration, mechanical, or industrial maintenance (or equivalent experience).\r\n\tExperience with food processing or canning lines preferred.\r\n\tExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\r\n\tDetail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and safety.\r\n\tAbility to work extended or flexible hours during peak production seasons\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nStarting wage range is $28.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on skills, abilities, and experience.\r\n
