Strategic Account Executive – Veterinary Compliance & PartnershipsRole Overview
We are seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Strategic Account Executive to lead enterprise client relationships, drive new business opportunities, and support our growth in the veterinary compliance and training space. This role blends strategic account management, business development, marketing collaboration, and industry partnerships.
The ideal candidate understands the veterinary landscape—including OHSA, OSHA, DEA, controlled substances, and safety program requirements—and can translate that expertise into impactful client value, strategic expansion opportunities, and strong long-term partnerships. This individual will confidently represent our brand in virtual meetings, webinars, conferences, and strategic partner discussions. They will also need to be able to work in the other industries we serve.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a growing organization and is eager to expand responsibilities across customer success, partnerships, and marketing.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Account Management
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for mid-sized to enterprise veterinary groups.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers (compliance directors, operations leaders, practice managers).
- Understand client needs, growth plans, and compliance gaps to position value-added solutions.
- Manage renewals, expand accounts, and drive multi-location adoption across groups.
- Monitor client performance metrics, compliance progress, and training engagement.
Business Development & Partnerships
- Identify, pursue, and close strategic growth opportunities within enterprise groups and industry associations.
- Develop partnership proposals, co-marketing opportunities, and multi-site rollout plans.
- Support lead-generation initiatives and collaborate with leadership on outreach strategies.
- Represent the organization in discussions with vendors, education partners, and industry associations.
Marketing & Thought Leadership
- Collaborate with marketing to:
- Co-create webinars, blog content, newsletters, and promotional campaigns.
- Build thought-leadership materials around OHSA/OSHA/DEA compliance, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Support product launches, marketing funnels, and campaign messaging.
- Present at online conferences, speaking events, webinars, and client-facing presentations.
Client Training & Compliance Support
- Host virtual training sessions, onboarding meetings, and compliance briefings for client teams.
- Provide high-level guidance on OHSA,OSHA, DEA, controlled substance management, and provincial/state safety regulations.
- Translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable client recommendations.
- Support audit readiness, documentation management, and training program implementation.
Internal Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with compliance, product, and marketing teams to refine offerings and improve client resources.
- Share client feedback to help shape product development and service enhancements.
- Contribute to internal processes that improve efficiency, onboarding, and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise account management, sales, client success, or strategic partnerships, ideally in veterinary, healthcare, SaaS, or compliance-focused industries.
- Knowledge of veterinary OHSA, OSHA, DEA, controlled substance regulations, or workplace safety programs (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Demonstrated success identifying opportunities, growing accounts, or developing partnerships.
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills; comfortable on Zoom/Teams and in virtual events.
- Marketing or content-creation experience (webinars, blogs, short-form content, presentations) is highly valued.
- Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation.
- Organized, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Experience in veterinary operations, animal health, or compliance programs is a strong asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Animal Health, or a related field.
- French speaking is an asset but not required
