Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a progressive practice based in a spacious, purpose-built site. This role would suit someone with a few years’ experience who wants to work in a clinically stimulating environment, with access to advanced equipment and the support of certificate-holding colleagues in disciplines such as dentistry, exotics and cardiology.
You’ll enjoy a well-structured rota, 20-minute consultations and no out-of-hours, giving you the chance to provide thoughtful, thorough care without compromising your life outside of work. The team places a strong emphasis on communication, regular clinical meetings and shared learning, so you’ll be encouraged to bring your ideas and shape the service as it continues to grow.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Running consult blocks with enough time to investigate cases properly and discuss options with clients
- Performing a wide range of soft tissue surgeries and other procedures appropriate to your experience
- Collaborating with the nursing and reception team to ensure smooth, efficient daily workflow
- Taking part in a fair Saturday morning rota while enjoying the rest of the weekend off
