AgXplore is hiring a Sales Agronomist to lead growth in Montana’s Golden Triangle; one of the most productive small-grain and pulse crop regions in the U.S. This field-based position is ideal for a self-starter who can manage a strong existing book of business while also building new relationships with independent retailers and cooperatives across the region.

What You’ll Do
- Own and manage a strong existing book of business, including the two primary accounts that anchor this territory.
- Drive new business development with independent retailers, cooperatives, and large growers across the Golden Triangle.
- Identify opportunities within wheat, barley, pulse crops, canola, and other regional crops to position AgXplore’s nutrition and efficiency products.
- Provide agronomic expertise, product positioning, and in-field technical support.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve annual sales goals.
- Build strong long-term partnerships through regular field visits, product demonstrations, and solution-based selling.
What You Bring
- 3-5+ years of agronomy or agricultural sales experience.
- Experience working with independent retailers/co-ops strongly preferred.
- Proven success in hunting, prospecting, and growing new business.
- Strong agronomy knowledge and the ability to communicate value in technical products.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and a clear, professional communication style.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, high-autonomy role.
