Cattle Manager to oversee and manage a diverse cow/calf and stocker operation on over 8,000 acres in St Jo, Texas.
Miller Double A Ranch is a family-owned and operated cattle operation with a long-standing commitment to raising top-quality Black Angus cattle. This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to rebuild and optimize a high-performing commercial herd while overseeing stocker cattle operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the cow/calf herd, rebuilding and improving overall herd quality
- Select and manage bulls to ensure strong genetics and top weaning weights
- Maintain overall herd health, including vaccinations, medications, and preventative care, while practicing low-stress cattle handling
- Maintain accurate records of herd performance, treatments, and purchases
- Collaborate effectively with family ownership, maintaining a positive and professional working environment
Qualifications:
- Strong cow/calf knowledge with the ability to build a top-performing commercial herd
- Experienced in bull selection and herd genetics
- Proficient with purchased stockers and stocker management practices
- Knowledgeable in cattle health, low-stress handling, and medication protocols
