This role is designed to provide you with the skills and expertise needed to thrive in a dynamic and evolving agricultural environment.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nYOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe primary responsibilities of this role, Row Crop Production Trainee, are to:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\n\tWork across various departments, including crop production, equipment operation and maintenance, safety, quality, and supply chain logistics, to build a foundational knowledge of the row crop business;\r\n\tHelp coordinate daily tasks, such as creating work plans, monitoring production schedules, and ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed;\r\n\tSupport squads to enable the production of the highest quality product in accordance with all forecasted demand needs;\r\n\tLearn to operate, maintain, and repair modern agricultural and manufacturing equipment, production tools, and data management software;\r\n\tIdentify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency, working toward the company's overall performance goals while keeping an agile mindset;\r\n\tAssist in collecting production data to maintain accurate service logs and environmental data;\r\n\tDocument and standardize internal workflows to shape a consistent framework for the team, evaluate current processes, and suggest improvements to boost efficiency and achieve results;\r\n\tEncourage collaboration across different parts of the organization and help remove inefficiencies or obstacles within processes;\r\n\tEmpower team members by creating space for them to solve problems and ensuring they have the right tools to thrive.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWHO YOU ARE\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nBayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nRequired Qualifications:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh School Diploma (or equivalent);\r\n\tValid Driver’s License (driving record must meet company’s Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers – MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening);\r\n\tAbility to work during days, weekends, and overtime as business needs require;\r\n\tAbility to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. (a bag of seed);\r\n\tWillingness to travel up to 25% during peak season.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPreferred Qualifications:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\n\tMinimum of three years’ applicable experience OR a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Business, Operations Management;\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tStrong analytical and creative problem-solving skills;\r\n\tOrganizational and project management abilities;\r\n\tTeam mindset with effective communication and collaboration skills;\r\n\tAdaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic and varied operational environment;\r\n\tSelf-motivated and takes initiative to meet goals with minimal supervision.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPosting is available until December 18, 2025.\r\n\r\nLocation of the role would be Remington, IN, Constantine, MI, OR Matthews, MO sites.\r\n\r\nEligible for domestic relocation assistance.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nEmployees can expect to be paid a salary between $55,360.80 - $83,041.20. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
