Job Description: Our client is seeking a confident and friendly equine veterinary surgeon to join a well-established ambulatory team providing outstanding care across Dorset. This role offers exposure to a diverse caseload of first-opinion, medical, and emergency work, supported by experienced nurses, reception staff, and visiting specialists. You’ll have access to high-quality diagnostic tools and a collaborative clinical environment where your input truly matters.
In this position, your daily duties will involve:
- Providing first-opinion ambulatory care across routine and emergency cases
- Working with clients to build long-term trust and ensure continuity of care
- Utilising advanced diagnostic equipment and in-house laboratory facilities
- Participating in a shared OOH rota with time off in lieu
- Supporting continuous improvement of clinical protocols and teamwork
