Natural Environment Aquatix (NEA) is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented team member who loves fish and wants to grow in the aquarium hobby. This position is ideal for anyone passionate about aquatic life — including students or aspiring marine biologists looking for hands-on experience.
Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
Experience: Not required (but a plus!)
What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in keeping our store running smoothly and our animals thriving. Responsibilities include:
- Aquarium Care: Tank cleaning, aquascaping, routine maintenance, and caring for freshwater & saltwater livestock.
- Customer Service: Helping customers choose fish, plants, and equipment; teaching beginners the basics; answering hobby questions.
- Cashier Duties: Running the register, processing payments, and maintaining accurate transactions.
- Order Packing: Bagging fish, packing online orders, and preparing items safely and efficiently.
- Store Upkeep: General cleaning to help maintain a professional, welcoming environment.
