Your Role: RTR Consultant
As an RTR Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, consistent, and efficient delivery of General Accounting activities for the most complex countries within the assigned region. This role requires end-to-end process expertise, acting as an RTR Subject Matter Expert, representing the team in cross-functional discussions and initiatives, and performing review activities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Be the primary point of contact for all General Accounting (GA) related items, including full ownership of month-end closing tasks and reconciliation processes for complex company codes.
- Execute the complete month-end process timely and with high quality, including journal entries preparation and review, and prepare/manage monthly trial balance packages.
- Act as a subject matter expert on complex accounting treatments, support global/regional GA and cross-functional initiatives, and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrate a strong Continuous Improvement oriented approach and help build a strong Continuous Improvement culture, ensuring robust process documentation.
- Demonstrate a strong compliance-oriented mindset, ensure SOX compliance within the region, and engage with External/Internal Audit to provide required documentation.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
- Master’s Degree or equivalent Degree in Finance or Accounting
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in General Accounting processes, preferably in a shared services environment
- Fluency in English language and experience with SAP
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
- CPA, CIMA, ACCA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent
- Experience with OneStream
- Proven improvement orientation within prior operational business roles
- Ability to respond flexibly to customer needs and effectively manage expectations
- Ability to handle complexity and utilize analytical skills, with attention to detail
