\r\n \r\n\r\nLocation : Northern England, Scotland & Northern Ireland\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nIf you have a passion for cattle coupled with a sound technical grasp of animal health and a commercial mindset, we're keen to talk to you.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nDe Lacy Executive is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to join a global leader in animal health solutions, taking on a field-based role supporting their world-class cattle genomics portfolio. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThis business continues to invest strongly in ruminants while many other animal pharmaceuticals entities focus resources elsewhere. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nYou'd be joining the company at a time when they're broadening their product offering and enhancing data-driven services to their customers.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhether you're a sales professional from an allied sector, or perhaps an experienced veterinarian looking for a new challenge, this role may just open doors unexpectedly.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n Key responsibilities:\r\n\r\n- Develop mutually beneficial and productive long-term partnerships with external partners and farmers\r\n\r\n- Deliver call activity to achieve the required coverage and frequency with identified target customers\r\n\r\n- Maintain high level of expertise with the evolving portfolio of products, services, pricing, competition, market and industry trends\r\n\r\n- Able to develop and maintain territory plans in collaboration with external partners\r\n\r\n- Ensure customer information and call reports are continuously updated through CRM system\r\n\r\n- Align activities and account plans to marketing programmes and management direction\r\n\r\n- Analyse and interpret actual and potential territory/customer sales and growth opportunities to support delivery of sales targets\r\n\r\n- Maintain high standards of business conduct and compliance, adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy and Global vet Policy\r\n\r\n- Manage allocated customer support budget with tight control to avoid overspends\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nYour profile:\r\n\r\n- A passion for cattle with experience in ruminant agriculture, genetics, reproduction or veterinary care\r\n\r\n- Skilled in sales and negotiation including virtual selling\r\n\r\n- Communication and influencing skills\r\n\r\n- Relationship management ability; can build successful and effective relationships\r\n\r\n- Ability to develop knowledge base and deliver technical sales approach\r\n\r\n• Ability to work independently\r\n\r\n• Drive and resilience, demonstrated with a persistent attitude\r\n\r\n• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific data in common, simple terms\r\n\r\n• Experience in roles dealing directly with customers\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nRemuneration:\r\n\r\n - Competitive basic salary to reflect your skills and experience\r\n\r\n- Performance bonus & company vehicle\r\n\r\n- Health & life insurance\r\n\r\n\r\n
