\r\n\r\nJob Description\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n The Opportunity:\r\n\r\nAs a Senior Project Manager within the Project Management Office, you will lead end-to-end delivery of complex, enterprise-wide technology initiatives that enable Maple Leaf Foods’ strategic goals. Applications received beyond that date are not guaranteed consideration.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSnapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:\r\n\r\nAs a Senior Project Manager, you will:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBuild and lead effective project teams, fostering trust, open dialogue, and shared ownership of results.\r\n\tDefine project scope, goals, and measurable outcomes in collaboration with business partners and technology stakeholders.\r\n\tDevelop and manage detailed project schedules, resource plans, and integrated workstream activities.\r\n\tIdentify, assess, and communicate project risks with thoughtful mitigation strategies.\r\n\tEnsure quality and control across scope, budget, timelines, and deliverables.\r\n\tCoordinate cross-functional workstreams and recruit additional expertise as needed.\r\n\tProvide clear project updates to sponsors, leadership, and stakeholders, including status, risks, and recommendations.\r\n\tLead project budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking.\r\n\tOversee change management activities—including impact assessments, readiness planning, communications, and training support.\r\n\tDeliver projects to approved timelines, budget, scope, and quality standards.\r\n\tLead large, complex teams composed of internal contributors, external partners, and multi-disciplinary subject matter experts.\r\n\tPartner with IT leadership to secure resources and resolve resourcing priorities.\r\n\tPrepare high-quality project documentation and governance materials, aligned with MLF standards.\r\n\tTrack project deliverables using tools such as Teams, SharePoint, MS Project.\r\n\tPlan and execute cutover, go-live readiness, and transition-to-operations activities.\r\n\tMentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement within the PMO.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat You’ll Bring:\r\n\r\n\r\n\t8+ years of leading complex, enterprise-wide projects—Cloud/SaaS, ERP (SAP or S/4HANA), or digital transformation.\r\n\tExperience with SAP, Cloud ecosystems, or large platform implementations.\r\n\tUniversity degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).\r\n\tPMP and Agile certifications preferred.\r\n\tExperience driving organizational change and enabling adoption in complex environments.\r\n\tDemonstrated leadership of large teams (20+ members) across multiple disciplines.\r\n\tExceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills.\r\n\tAbility to collaborate closely with business and technical leaders, communicate vision, and build alignment.\r\n\tStrong understanding of business processes within CPG or similar industries.\r\n\tKnowledge of Cloud solution architectures, digital platforms, and modern implementation methodologies.\r\n\tSkilled influencer with the ability to guide teams through uncertainty and transformation.\r\n\tAdaptive leadership style suited to diverse situations and audiences.\r\n\tExcellent prioritization, communication, execution, and critical-thinking skills.\r\n\tStrong business acumen, curiosity, and understanding of cross-functional operations.\r\n\tSelf-starter with a strong bias for action and delivery.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat We Offer at Maple Leaf Foods:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBeing part of a high-performance, people-focused company that has an inspiring and unique vision to become the most sustainable protein company on earth, and a deep commitment to sustainable protein across North America.\r\n\tAn inclusive company culture and a work environment that keeps our people safe, rewards excellence, and empowers everyone to learn and contribute their best. \r\n\tCompetitive Health and Wellness benefits that offer flexibility to meet your individual or family needs, including programs focused on improving mental health and wellbeing.
