For more information please visit www.andersonsinc.com.The Quality Control Lab Technician is responsible for leading routine sampling and testing of proppants ensuring all products meet or exceed industry specifications and all testing procedures and practices are in compliance. ÂThis position will be located at our Buffalo Grass terminal located between Carlsbad and Hobbs New Mexico. ÂWhat Youâll DoConduct testing and related tasks including sample collection sand/proppant analysis air quality monitoring and data entry.Observe report and resolve potential operational or safety concerns.Maintain lab standards and train employees on procedures safety practices and company policies.Manage processes and equipment coordinating with procurement accounting and other departments.Collaborate with management and operations to plan and achieve production goals while maintaining quality standards.Participate in daily safety briefings and ensure smooth shift handovers.Keep work areas clean organized and safe.What Weâre Looking ForHigh School Diploma or GED required; Associateâs Degree preferred.3â5 years of relevant lab or quality control experience.Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsAbility to work indoors and outdoors including exposure to extreme temperatures.Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.Exposure to dust chemicals and hazardous materials.Why Join UsAt The Andersons youâll be part of a team that values integrity safety and innovation.
