Department: Aquaculture / Fisheries Operations
Salary: $38,000–$55,000 starting
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with daily pond inspections and fish health monitoring
- Feed distribution (pellet and supplemental feeds)
- Record fish biomass, growth rates, and water quality parameters
- Operate aeration systems, pumps, and water-flow equipment
- Perform harvesting, grading, and stocking
- Track feed conversion ratios (FCR)
- Monitor for disease, oxygen levels, algae, and nutrient cycles
- Maintain equipment and support general farm operations
Preferred Degrees & Educational Background
Ideal candidates may have:

✔ Marine or Freshwater Biology
✔ Environmental Science
✔ Animal Science
✔ Biology or Ecology
✔ Agronomy / Water Resource Management
Degrees not required if the applicant has:
- Farm experience
- Experience with fish production
- Pond management skills
