This role is focused on generating new childcare centre partnerships, building strong local relationships, and promoting Sentient as the trusted staffing partner for the childcare community. The Part-Time Account Executive – Sales will prospect, present Sentient’s services, and close new business.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAs a part-time role, the Account Executive will work approximately 20 - 25 hours per week, primarily remote with outreach via phone, video conferencing, and e-mail. Occasional in-person visits to childcare centres and attendance at local events will be required.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSuccess\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAs a trusted partner and ambassador, the successful candidate will focus on promoting Sentient HR Services and driving new business growth and referrals in the Ottawa region. The Account Executive will own the sales process from prospecting and outreach to presentations, closing, and onboarding while maintaining a consultative and relationship-focused approach. The successful candidate will inspire confidence and trust in childcare leaders, contributing to Sentient’s growth in the region while working in alignment with our values.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nDuties and Responsibilities\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSales Planning\r\n\r\n\r\n\tIdentify and pursue new business opportunities with childcare centres across Ottawa.\r\n\tSet weekly activity goals (calls, meetings, outreach) to achieve part-time sales targets.\r\n\tRepresent Sentient at local tradeshows, association meetings, and networking events.\r\n\tShare local market insights and competitor activity with leadership.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSales Process & Execution\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProspect childcare centres through calls, emails, and networking to build pipeline.\r\n\tConduct consultative sales meetings to understand client needs and present solutions.\r\n\tDeliver presentations that communicate Sentient’s value proposition in staffing.\r\n\tClose new business and ensure smooth onboarding before transition to Client Care.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nTeam Collaboration\r\n\r\n\r\n\tFollows Sentient’s charter and is aligned and exhibits company values.
