We are searching for a full or part time veterinarian in beautiful Dayton Nevada at our privately owned small animal hospital. We are a general medicine practice that will see some emergencies at the discretion of the doctor being asked. We are open Monday-Friday 7:30AM-5PM, and work in four 10 hour shifts - but we are flexible in scheduling if you have specific needs. We are a family-friendly practice and understand having outside priorities. We have recently updated our equipment and protocols for both medicine and surgery - we aim to be progressive and evolving with medicine and the veterinary field. Below is a list of some of our assets to a DVM:
-Mentorship - all levels of experience are welcome to apply! We recently had a VGAL earn full licensure under our mentorship!
-A new digital x-ray suite
-New digital dental x-rays and a full dental set up including Sanos and sealant
-New ultrasound machine
-Laser machine (class 3) for therapeutic laser treatments
-Complete updated in-house IDEXX lab and reference lab partner with Antech
-Large surgery suite with state-of-the-art anesthesia monitoring equipment
-An amazing support staff including licensed veterinary technician(s) - our team is friendly, skilled and helpful.
-Electronic medical records/system (paper light)
-Fixed figure salary, plus production - amount will be based on experience and work load, but a realistic range of $95,000-180,000 for full time

Required Education and skills:
-A Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited university (VGALs may also be considered)
-Licensed for veterinary medicine in Nevada (or willing to obtain) and in good standing
-Willing to be a friendly team member - we like our friendly drama-free atmosphere!
All levels of skill experience will be considered!
