Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian to join their Ditmas Park, Brooklyn clinic as Medical Director. This leadership role combines hands-on clinical practice with medical oversight, offering the opportunity to guide medical standards, mentor associate veterinarians, and help cultivate a positive, high-performing hospital culture.
The Medical Director partners closely with the Clinic Manager and regional leadership to ensure excellent patient care, strong team collaboration, and an outstanding client experience. In addition to leadership responsibilities, this role maintains an active presence in clinical care, leading by example and reinforcing best practices throughout the clinic.

Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD or equivalent)
- Active or eligible New York State veterinary license
- 3–5+ years of small animal clinical experience preferred
- 1+ year of leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication, coaching, and team-building skills
Compensation & Benefits Package:
- Base salary: $165,000 – $185,000
- Annual Medical Director stipend: $15,000
- Total compensation up to $200,000+, depending on experience
