Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree eligible for full licensure in Ontario
- Two to five years of clinical experience preferred within general or emergency practice
- Ability to remain calm, organised, and decisive in high-pressure situations
- Strong client communication skills with empathy and clarity
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing emergency and urgent care cases across overnight and weekend shifts
- Performing emergency surgical and medical interventions as required
- Communicating treatment options and updates clearly with pet owners
- Collaborating closely with veterinary nurses and emergency support staff
- Maintaining accurate clinical records during high-volume caseloads
