Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled Small Animal Veterinarian for a full-time clinical position at a busy and well-equipped veterinary clinic in Pakenham, located in the south-east region of Melbourne. The practice is situated within a popular shopping precinct, offering modern facilities such as consult rooms, a sterile surgery theatre, X-ray and dental imaging, plus in-house pathology capabilities. The incoming Associate Veterinarian will join an established team with regular specialist visits, providing exposure to a range of cases and opportunities to broaden clinical expertise.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing consults, follow-ups, and general veterinary cases with professional care
- Performing routine surgical procedures and diagnostics within your experience
- Developing treatment plans tailored to patient needs and communicating them clearly
- Building strong relationships with clients through trusted guidance and support
- Collaborating with nursing and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree eligible for registration in Victoria
- At least 3 years’ experience in small animal clinical practice
- Confidence in independently handling clinical cases and routine surgery
